hi Sue. The lodge is looking good. some decent weather now too.
Young Sabeel is experiencing some sort of bowel trouble. The GP thinks it could be colitis and the hospital doctor reckons it's a stubborn virus. Naturally we hope the hospital doctor is correct. The GP put Sabeel on steroids and the hospital doc said come off them until a diagnosis is made. This would involve the sort of discomforting tests you'll be all too familar with so we've been advised to hold fire and see if it gets better. He is missing a fair bit of school and the usual evening activites tied as he is to the loo. Here's hoping it clears over the weekend and the hospital doctor is right.
Cathy I was so sorry to hear this about Sabeel, I hope it is just a virus, and he gets better .. bowel trouble is such a bloody nuisance ..
I am sitting here myself after a good evening with Andy but i have had to trot to the loo so many times in the last 90 minutes I feel totally exhausted .. and really very drained from it all ... my innards are so unpreicatable now, and a jag like this is not unusual, and not any the easier just cos it is familiar!
B just bought me a Diorlyte, which I find helps me
have your got Diorolyte / rehydation treatment to give to Sabeel? It makes the risk of dehydration and head-aches etc a lot less .. so it might make him feel better .. dehydration is a big risk with bowel trouble, but then i guess you know that!
