Then we had a pub lunch (including the new fave-health food du jour: CHIPS!) before pottering over to Biddulph Grange.. which was lovely as ever .. and then you just cant go to these National Trust places without having a drink and a piece of homemade-style cake, can you?
.. I'll be the size of the back of a bus again in due course ..

Do you mean the little furry friend B!? The pics are fab Sam - I think walking in bluebell woods is a very healing thing. We have some lovely ones up near my house and every time I catch sight of the blue it lifts my heart.

LOL @ Liz. I had tried to take a photo of a gorgeous busy-tailed squirrel, but by the time I'd faffed with said camera apparatus, he'd mooched along onto pastures new.
Photos never quite do beautiful scenes justice but they do go some way to jogging the memory and relifting the spirit. As Suze quite rightly pointed out, you can't beat the photographic capabilities of the personal memory bank.

Sue wrote a big blog late last night and had great trouble trying to send it I think it got lost.The jist of it was the Mistry boys had been here for tea.I rambled on about when I was young a long time ago now, going to the bluebell woods where the D road at Longport to the Tunstall junction used to be so beautiful,now its all gone.Have a super weekend lots of love L M xxxxxx
Hi Sue, Glad u b out & about. The pics are very colorful & those gardens at Bid., Grange is a venue I've wanted to visit & never got round 2. It b on my 2do list 4 future.
Anyway, bowt me, I am on anti-biotics yet again so I won't c u till infect., b gone. I did wonder if that lovely Nuffield had a micro germ lurk & find me as hospitals r great 4 dishing out things, but I don't loose any sleep over it & am glad I went. 1 day I may ask doctor why I got infect., 3 times on trot with short gap between.
Anyway, had gud time out last nite dispite 'bug' at 40th birthday party bash.
I will have 2 get back 2 finding a poem 4 u & getting rid of this 'mystery bug' so I can visit u again.
