bleugh but worth it.

Oh dear.. have had a bad time inside this week. Level of sickness worse than ever before. Couldn't even get a sip of water to stay down, lost count of how many times I was sick, and just needed to sleep and sleep the whole time.

Obviously, not eating or drinkng leads to dehydration, so the doc prescribed extra fluids and thus I had to stay in an extra night as well .

I DO feel better now. They gave me a pump to infuse anti-nausea drugs into my belly (subcut) on a regular basis, and this seems to have done the trick. Will be going home with that still attached in a fetching bum bag arrangement, harldy Louis Vuitton, but hey ho.

Anyrate, that's been the experience, but the good news is my scan shows the tumours on my lung are shrinking .. so the chemo is doing its job ... good news!

Sorry you are having a rough time with the chemo and nausea. Still, it's great to hear those tumours are going the same way as the liver ones did.Saw Clare and Geraldine yesterday - they came for lunch.Let me know when you are up to the Fanstone Meals-on-Wheels
service or would like a visit. Went on my own to Mother's for her 97th earlier this month - it was surprisingly aggro free.Keep gritting your teeth into a smile, flower!Love to you both, Celia F.

Hi Sue good news on the tumours shrinking, not very good that you are being so sick with the chemo. Spoke to auntie Barb, this morning she said the snow was still lying around, weve not had any down here though weve had heavy frosts. Just seen three of those things in the sky men in little seats with a canopy thingy over them gosh rather them than me, hope they dont land in the new road works or they will be very muddy.Lots of love to both of you L M xxxxxxxxx

hi suze, back from some incessant voyaging (and more to come in a couple of days) but just checking in with you here and glad at least that the new arrangement, even if unsuitable for the catwalk, does help with the nausea.... sorry to hear you are having a rougher time with this chemo but glad it is doing its work on the tumours! that is good news.... hope you can feel better and get some distraction there, and blue skies too!

xoxoxo ErĂn back home from Alberta in Montreal and thinking of you

Great to hear from you again Erin, sounds like you are keeping very busy! Seeing the Olympics makes me think of you - I found the mens' cross skiing racing last night very distracting! CRAZY they are!
