Weekend

It seems that Grey is this year's sun!

I'm so tired of the relentless clouds ... I hope it brightens up a bit over the weekend. We are off to Llandudno later! A very over-stuffed and muralised hotel near the pier -- St Tudno
http://www.st-tudno.co.uk/
plenty comfy seats if the weather is poor, anyway!

I'm just toddling off to get my blood test. All being well I'm back "inside" next week.

Met a pal from tinternet yesterday, which was lovely. She found me through this very blog and our shared experience of cancer etc etc. We've spoken a lot on the phone and get on very well so that was a new thing to do. *waves to jan*

Have a lovely weekend trip - hope the sun shines on you - but I'm sure you will make your own sunshine together. Am recovering from an anniversary visit to Portofino in Congleton and driking 3/4 of the bottle of red! Celia F.

Hi Susan and Brigid hope you have a good weekend, my postman told me yesterday that its going to be very hot over the weekend, so fingers crossed.
We had a nice few days at the caravan this week, the boys are going to Lyme at the weekend.
We have just had a glass of tomato juice and ham sandwiches for dinner,I think Dads just got himself a piece of cake.
Hope your blood test is OK. they have cut my warfrin down again this time so thats both of my last tests they have changed it.
Going to Tesco for some potatoes for tea time and get the Echo the local evening paper.I think W is going to the Drs this afternoon so she will not be taking a walk over there.
Bye for now have a nice time in Wales lots of love L M xxxxx

Hi
went to Tywyn and Aberdovey ( on coast , mid Wales , last weekend in the van. Lovely run via Welshpool. Aberdovey has a lovely sandy beach, it was after 5pm before we could pull ourselves away on Sunday evening. Preety little place too.Talylyn valley is very scenic - took the steam train - can certainly recommend that part of Wales.

Love Cathy

But I certainly don't recommend the Stiperstones in the Shropshire Hills. Beautiful spot yes but never camp there. A gang of youths turned up at 2.40 in the morning and aerosoled our beloved camper van. We were not amused. Looks like even the most secluded spot in becoming contaminated by these mindless vandals.
