newsflash -

this week's chemo is delayed until tomorrow

bet you think that's cos of the snow?

NO

it's cos the chemo drugs are LOST, obviously the druggies in Stoke have got their wire crossed and stolen the wrong stuff ... OR the poison with my name on is sitting on the wrong shelf or truck due to an error in some scanner or something ... hey ho!

Hmm, it was always a mixed blessing when mine got cancelled (always due to lack of neutrophils, never lost drugs - although I've had VERY late drugs before and spent a day in chemo suite).

Suze, my relationship is no more, my choice - just wasn't right for me so I'd rather be alone, it's what I'm best at now. Off to see urologist tomorrow so I'll know a bit more after any scopes/tests and my scan on Saturday. I'll probably blog about it - I sort of got out of the habit when I returned to work. If not, nag me to tell you. Best wishes for as troublefree chemo as you can xx

I hope you do keep in touch loopy -I often think of you, and the travails we've been through "together" tho we've never met!

I was very moved by your blog about your urology issues .. it sounds grim .. to say the least.I can't impose any platitides on you, so there isn't much else I can say .... xxxxx

Hello love and a Happy New Year - it sounds like the year's started with a bit of a stutter for you.

We're all holed up down here like the rest of the UK, snowed in, hunkered down and knitting alpaca socks as fast as I can.

Smoking needles!

Take care
Love Venita x

Hi Sue, Isn't it amazing how hospitals renound for high security & standards & cross checking & locked cupboards manage to loose drugs? I mean! Gosh! It ain't like loosing your pen, pencil or rubber. It is a big thing that. anyway, I hope it all works out well in the end. I'm sure it will. The hospital will find some excuse for the blunder I'm sure.
Keep smiling. LOL. Cousin Pauline. xx
