web n walk

thanks to the kindness and generosity of one my lovely friends I now have a T mobile web n walk USB thingy which means I can access the internet on my laptop in hospital -- all being well!

I can send txt using it too - which is so much easier when typing rather than fiddling with that silly phone-key pad and it's all included in the price. It was so easy to set up - in fact you don't have to do anything! Technology, eh!

So going back in tomorrow is very much brightened by the potential to use my messageboards etc ... I've got a grin like a Cheshire cat ...

And a new hair do -- well ,old style just re-done and it looks better than usual too!

Hiya Big Sister,

your recent panic made me smile, lucky it was all a flap over nothing much.

More chemo tomorrow? Is that all? ;) I had to go to the dentist today for two fillings. £80 that cost me. Actually it was hilarious, I rang work to say I wouldn't be in due to a dental emergency, only to be informed I was already on leave. What a chump. Anyway it's all sorted now.

Back to work tomorrow after two weeks off. And tomorrow is our 15th wedding anniversary. Oops!
Incidentally, don't you and Brigid soon have a 15th anniversary of being together? Well done, clearly you chose wisely.

I rang on Sunday with a view to visiting, but there was only the answerphone to speak to. I hope you were out enjoying the brilliant weather.

Your new piece of technology sounds useful. Well done whoever sorted that out for you.

Thinking of you lots of the time.

hi - hope your return to work goes OK! Will you celebrate your wedding anniversay? Our "couple" anniverary comes up at the end November, yes you're right! FIFTEEN years!!!! ! ! !

Sunday was the day we pottered out to Biddulph -- did you leave a message in the morning? never heard one ..

The new bit of kit is amazing - give me internet access "on the move" it worked a treat in the house .. so let's hope it works ok in the hospital ..I've got this one and two more to do next month .. then if the scan is clear I'll be able to have a rest!
