1/2 term

Have had a mixed week - pain and discomfort seemed to get worse for a bit, but that seems to have passed now. It's been lovely to have B around, and she has looked after me really well. We've done a fair bit of walking round Trentham and we're making progress on getting my car repaired so we can trade it in and get me my "new" car next week.

B's sister was here at the weekend and we are seeing my brother and family on Saturday. I'm hoping to do some walking with them.

Still no word on the future treatment options. I've been trying to sort out flu jabs and swine flu jabs to get some protection for the future.

Soon be a walking pin-cushion then! Have had my stitches re tooth out today, plus a hair cut: nearly back to its old length now.
Glad you and B have had a good week with warm, kind weather.

What's the 'new' car to be? Celia F

Glad to hear your news - give my love to the family at the week-end. We are back off to the van today and will be packing up during the week. I always feel sad at the end of the season but hey ho summer will soon be here. I have sent your Dad a recipe for oatcakes that the hairy bikers did on their programme - you never know - we may resurrect the tradition. Lots of love to you both Aunty Barbara

Look forward to seeing the new wheels. Hair length a protective measure!!! Have a good weekend with your brother - am off out to lunch today - an indulgence.
See you Tuesday. Celia F. x

Hi, Glad you are getting better. Hope the pain goes & stays away.
Bet you miss driving? I must admit it is hard when you are used to it to do without.

Still intend to visit, & it won't be long now. Will ring first.

Lots of love. Cousin Pauline. xxx

hi Suze... me back home from book tour and over the hump of dental surgery (my minor version of your feeling of being kicked by a horse is a feeling that i was punched in the face the day before yesterday... i.e. it's really swollen up...today!)and checking up on you, glad you've had time home with B.... you'll knit up that slice and news on treatment plan will come soon i'm sure... just before they want you to leap into it!

thinking of you as cloudy day light appears in Montreal! Lots of work here... i grin lopsidedly at you and hope you enjoy your brother visit and the walks!
