Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas all our readers ...

We are off to Dorset tomorrow and may not be on-line much with one thing and another, so this is the "Queen's Speech" edition ..

tra la la la ... or maybe not !

Thanks to everyone for the lovely christmas cards and good-wishes that have been arriving daily -- we are so excited about doing something different for Christmas and spending time with part of our family this year down in Dorset ...

Mrs Hall (my surgeon) said "concentrate on enjoying your Christmas break" .. and she told me to drink some champagne !!! Good ole doctor's orders -- a bit more my style then telling me to go the GYM!

She also said that she was delighted with the shrinkage that Dr Adab has managed and now it is much smaller they really feel quite sure that the thing is contained and not spread to adjacent organs ... so that's a great relief ..

she also described the operation in some detail -- I tell you -- YUCK!
It makes me a bit squeamish and I even had a bit of a panic attack yesterday, apropos of nothing, just sitting in the hairdressers and realised I wasn't breathing properly and my throat and fingers were all tingly .. I think it was "just nerves" - yes despite this calm and cheerful image -- sometimes it gets to me ... :)

The other thing is, Mrs Hall is going skiiing over the Christmas -- so we all need to pray that she comes back with all her limbs intact ... haha!

Merry Christmas, Everyone!
Lots of love, suzi and brigid xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello Sue!

Just a short e-mail to say how great it was to see you the other day! It was a really lovely surprise before Christmas!

Very relieved to be on holiday after this long term and to not, finally, have to teach teenagers how to jump, turn and twist in any form! I enjoyed doing the panto and it felt really healthy to interact with the staff in that way. Loved my ladies from the Finance department and their Abba routine. Think I should tour the Manchester clubs and pubs with them!!

I’m am currently partying in Manchester and having lots of fun not having to mark anything or engage with the joy of pro-monitor! Off back to Tunbridge Wells in Kent to see family on Saturday- will be spending Christmas staring neurotically at flowery wallpaper and drinking lots of cups of tea! Then to London for further partying and maybe, just maybe, a little bit of culture too!!!

I’m really glad that the treatment so far has been so successful. I hope you have a calm and peaceful time with your family in Dorset. And when you are up to it I think we should go wild in Canal Street together!!!!

Take care and Happy Christmas,

Lots of love

Hi Matt&Kasia - hope you have a good Christmas with all those plans "c'mon you reds" (tho of course there isn't any football in our house)
which hotel did you book into?

Our cottage is lovely and the location is great -- but the man was stressed about his boiler breaking and he was very rude to me, so his FREE PUBLICITY on here has been taken OFF! haha

Glad to hear that you got trapped in the forcefield around Street. I love it when the car takes on a life of it's own like that. It's usually closely followed by my credit card making a bid for freedom from my purse.
Miss you.

Hi Suze and B, and a hi to Suze's Dad and Mum too. I have just got back from spending Christmas with my family which involved my ma-in-la's 86th birthday so we have both been sharing precious moments with a much loved one. There were a few tears from both parties when my young grandson and I had to be surgically removed from each other so I could leave, but he is smiling and singing again now so all is well. It is great to read you are enjoying your Christmas too. Viva family and friends, I say. Enjoy your New Year celebrations as much. Much love to you all.
