Hi Sue, I'm back on Blogg after being busy, busy & a couple of days poorly, but I better now.
Belated birthday greetings to your mum, Pauline (I being cousin Pauline). Looks like you all had a good time which I'm pleased about.

As I aint been to library yet I am struggling for poetry. I have found something in very old prayer book so I hope you like it.

GOD CARES
God cares!
How sweet the strain!
My aching heart and weary brain
Are resting by the sweet refrain-
He cares, Our father cares!

God cares!
O, sing the song
In lonely spot, amid the throng;
'Twill make the way less hard and long-
He cares, Our Father cares!

God cares!
The words so sweet
My lips and life shall e'er repeat,
My burdens all left at His feet-
God cares, Our Father cares!
------------------------------
I wonder if this prayer book is an antique as it was published in 1914 & does have some heavy stuff in?
Anyway, take care & love to all.

hi Pauline - this photo isn't from this week - in fact it is from a couple of years ago when we gathered for my Nana Astbury's 90th birthday --

@ Joe - it was nice talking to you today - but little mummy's message is still not on my screen ..

oh - and I just talked to your dad and he really did think we were arriving on Saturday -so there has been a bit of confusion .. but we will be there TOMORROW ! yay
