Strange but true, Mark actually sent the snaps over --- wahay!
They speak for themselves, you can see it was sunny cos the group photo has us a bit bleached out.
This is me with the monkey that Luke bought for me... it realy looks a lot like the monkeys at the Forset
and we both have one so it is a sweet link between us:

Lovely pictures Sue, you all look happy. Julie
The photographs are really good, I like your monkey.
Just thinking about you at 7-30 wondering how you are geting on with DR Adab,to night.
Its been a wet afternoon we went to the bathroom shop then to Tesco it was darker at 3-30 today than it was at 5-oclock last night.
Hope to get a message soon lots of love to you both L M xxxxxxxxx
It was really lovely to see you (AND B) today.I hope I didn't tire you out too much, and that you had a long snoozzzzz after I left!Like the latest blog photos, but found it difficult to distingush humans from .......!! Couldn't reist that one - sorry.Keep in touch. Luv, Celia F.
Lovely photos suze.
Tassi
Look at him and his trendy hair cut! When we went to the monkey forest my dad kept coming out with such predictable lines as, "stay close or they might try and keep you here." Did any of that go on or is it just my dad's sense of humour?
Can't wait to see you tomorrow; hope everything went OK at the dr's.
xx
Oh yes - you can't go there without a few "you're a monkey" jokes being made at the expense of the youngest ppl in the party .. but that's all part of the fun .. in fact Luke turnd it round on us and got out of the gate first, making ot lockus in to stay where we belonged!
and yeah - his hair is trendy! He started High School this year, so there's no stopping him now!
That has to be the coolest little guy ever! Get him with his funky hair. I'm actually quite jealous, why did mine never do that when it was short. *Humph*
And how bloomin tiny are you these days, you look positively radiant in those photos. Every cloud, eh!
xx
And that just goes to show I clearly didn't read anyone elses posts first........
Sorry for the duplication. It is cool hair though!
:)
haha Sam - you see you and Kate have lots in common
hehe
@ Sam - there are certain ppl in my family - e.g. my brother, who specialise in making me look small in photos .. I assure you I'm still a generous size 18, so no size zero for me, yet .. the silver lining is by way of lame rather than sterling, so far .. tho I told Dr Adab last night that I'd like to try my chemo without steroids this time and see if I can lose more weight nad not puff up with steroid inflation
He's agreed to try it!
Suze, I got one word for you... relentless.
LOL ;o)
If you ever want to share said family members, I could really do with a few teeny-tiny photos of me over here!!
Yes, the silver lining leaves a little to be desired as yet but the most amazing things in life have to start small scale, so you might as well focus on it?
And as an 'aside', if you can have the Chemo without steroids, what are the steriods there for? If the steroids make things more bearable, I'd be tempted to go with them.... despite my previous ramblings, image is nothing in the wider scheme of things. (Especially when said family members exist!)
no no no sam
steroids MIGHT make it more bearable, but there might be other ways of achieving same level of bearablness without puffing up like a barage ballon and part of why HE likes to use them is to keep patients' bulk up.. which is relevant ifyou ar already slight, but sicne I am far-from-slight I dont need it!
Dear Susan, we have waited a long time for a
photo with all those people on it ,what a good thing to see, I hope you all had a good time together.
I am also very pleased to see Barbara paying a visit, and a chance to have a photo of all of you on it.
My diabetic clinic was a good result, except for that hypo incident.
Looking forward to seeing you both next week.
Love Dad xxxx
