ago I was in the hospital for my operation.
I am trying to focus on what a good thing that is for me! I have had a few miserable moments dealing with the new body-image and stoma side of things, but otherwise I'm doing OK and my mates are doing their level best to distract me.
Mand took me out to Trentham on Saturday and I walked a bit further into the Italian Gardens, this weather is such a bonus and we had a good time together (B was at the Stoke match!!!!)
On Sunday Kate came down and forced us to learn about Rugby! Mainly I did my tapestry while that was on. I might need at least a year more sewing to get that finished - it is a slow hobby ...
We had a "new" recipe for tea .. inspired by Kasia's idea that Polish convalescents are nursed with broth made of veal bones B tried to get some from the local abbatoir. He didn't have any just bones, but he sold her some slices of bone with meat on, and we made osso bucco with it... (i.e. I did a bit to assist in the kitchen for the first time in 3 weeks)
Osso bucco is a great recipe and I'm sure the nutrients in it are rebuilding my cells even as I type .. it was really tasty and something we'll have again...

I have been sitting at my desk marking thinking of the pound signs and watching the sun..... very pleased to hear someone has been enjoying it! We have een told to expect snow tonight, but no sign so far - maybe I will be snowed in for the first time!!

Susan seems I put yesterdays blog on the 10 messages one, must have been a senior moment.
We had a nice chinese at the mistery boys, John had found this new take away near to Manor park school.Lots of nice food the rice was a meal in its self it had alsorts of things mixed in it I ate loads.
Dads just gone to the library to take a couple of vidios back and to Tesco.
The sun is here again it looks quite nice now the frosts gone.
Martin is here doing the bathroom, I have just done a huge pile of ironing, no names mentioned. I did send a couple back with J I had
done at the week end, they may be at Weymouth J was going to work so these Ive just done may get back quicker.

Oh my goodness; that tea was lovely. It was one of those teas that I thought about for a long time after and wished I was eating it again.
See how easily I get addicted to things? Heh heh...
