too much detail

hi - it is hard to know what to post without going into too much detail for the general readership! I am very much "the patient" at the moment, rather sickly, decidedly tired, easily overwhelmed and with another new procedure in the pipeline I seem totally taken over by a medical model.

However, in addition to the new stuff I've been sorting out today (HRT related)I've been able to rest quite well and have got plans to see ppl this week, in addition to the medical stuff.

I do believe America's Next Top Model will be on soon, too .. so I'll toddle off and see!

Hi Suzie,
just to say I am thinking of you both very much at the moment - for me I can remember all this only too well and I know it is tough and you have to be strong and know that at the moment it is whacking your goodies as well as your baddies. Stick with it girls!!!

thanks Ian ... I've been very "sick and tired" but feel a bit more "normal" (eek) this morning and voluntarily went rummaging for food just now ...as opposed to being encouraged to eat something!

The weather forecast is very good today so I will try and get out to the resevoir today and get some fresh air and sun round me.

Sorry to hear you've a touch of the chemo blues but that IS perfectly normal! Your ability to bounce back is extra special. Good to know no food is safe in your gaff. :)

Love you lots,

Jean xx

Hi Sue, Cousin Poe here. Still not found a poem yet but it's on my 'To Do' list. Glad your appitite has picked up & the walk in fresh air sounds a good idea. Have a nice day & love to all. Pauline. xx

Sorry about the downer - I expect things will be rather a rollercoast ride for a while, but I expect your innate strength to conquer all! Thinking of you and willing you well ( note alliteration!) I have two funny pictures from a friend in France which I will forward email to you on the college site.Celia F

Hiya Susan,

Sorry to hear you are a bit overcome by what you have undergone. OK, so you ARE human after all.. and maybe it's not fair of me to always portray you as superhuman. (Even if to me you always will be!) But, you ARE going to get through this.

Nothing else is a possibility.

PS. Ever had a song stuck in your mind? Today I was landed with Tom Robinson's '(Sing if you're) Glad to be gay'. Picture me as white van man endlessly chanting this anthem through the streets of Coventry. Excellent.

I'm guessing it didn't cost as much as yours Sue. 'NVGBC' would be too unfair.
