HaaaPPY New YEAr

HAPPY NEW YEAR
Wow
we had a great night last night, with Andy and Azrini .. a really relaxing evening with loads of good food and wine. It was a good way to bring in the New Year. It's the first time I've troubled myself to do a bit of serious catering for a few months so I enjoyed myself putting the pinny back on --- getting it ready all day and then sharing it all night. (recipe tips on application!)

I followed my doc's tip and had (lots of ) champagne although I've paid for it all day today .. I was really zapped and am back on the wagon again now!

It is a strange New Year - knowing that the next "big thing" on my horizon is the surgery and then the convalesence, and maybe more chemo stuff --- I can't say it's not daunting .. IT IS daunting ... but "getting better" has got to be better than getting worse, so it will be happy in the long run!

I hope your own New Year brings you everything you hope for ... and you can keep your resolutions ... I'd quite like to know what your resolutions are, so (if they're printable) you are invited to add them in the comments! My only resolution is to try and not be a grumpy patient ... hehe!

Dear Susan, pleased to see you had a good time with your friend's,and managed some cooking .
Consuming champagne is turning out to be one of your new hobby's,one that other's can help with I hope (I will be visiting to test this theory ).
It was nice to see the family all to gether for
christmas ,we look forward to seeing you later this month .

It was good to hear that you have been enjoying yourself - what a pity about the photographs. My resolution is not to finish up like by deceased BIL who said to the boys "Don't waste your life like I have" It was the saddest thing I had ever heard and I will not leave that legacy so I suppose my resolution is to 'open all doors whenever possible'. LOL

Happy New Year Sue & same to B.
This is cousin Pauline again.
Glad you had a good Christmas with plenty of champers.
My Christmas was quite enjoyable & megga busy. I did have a few too many drinkies over Xmas & had a poorly tum for 2 days followed by a virus of sorts (I spare you the details, but I spent some time in the bathroom).
I will send you a little poem soon so you will have that to look forward to or dread depending on your point of view. Anyway, good luck for the big day & take care.
Love Pauline x

Happy New Year to you and B! It was good to hear that your celebrations were fun. Jenny and I will be thinking of you, particularly over the next few weeks.

My resolution was to clear all the accumulated clutter from my study and this I have done, but time will tell whether I continue to keep the room tidy... M xx

yay for champagne! i still have a bottle of the nz stuff that we all clean forgot to have when we got back from clubbing, so, and it's a shame this, i shall have to have it myself at some point. OH it's a hard life.

(my resolution is printable but a little too personal to share.)
