C+R week3 day 4

More sunshine ... innit great?
Liz is in the kitchen whipping up a cottage pie for B and I to have for tea. It is the first time I've felt like eating red meat for months, and it smells wonderful. She'll be going off home in a minute and I guess I'll grab a nap then. I get pretty tired in the afternoons, generally.

DVD news - we watched Brokeback Mountain last night, or rather B and Liz did. I went to bed b4 the end .. I was so tired yesterday. Anyway it sounds like it was a real tear-jerker, so maybe I won't watch the end by myself today.

Comments
A few ppl have told me that they've posted comments that didn't show up with me in the last few days. Rest assured, I've not gone into some silly moderator's cull thingy ... it is all to do with the provider -- Google has had a few probs, but they reckon they are sorted now, so plz feel free to comment away .. you know I love it!

Sunshine?! Who says the weather's bad in Staffs, eh? Here in Erlangen the temperature's hovering just above freezing, and the forecast is for -7 C for this evening. It's been snowing all day and I wonder whether I might wake up tomorrow to find snow on the ground.

Today must be half-way day with the radiation, so relax and enjoy your nice dinner as a treat! :)

Hey Susan, it's Laura Hughes!
I've been reading your blog for ages and I realised I've never commented you, so I thought that tonight would be the night, since, being the totally stereotypical student I am, I'm in my room on my laptop at 10:30pm with nothing to do.
I'm glad the weather's nice, it's a bit...bracing up here. That is, I open the window and get little icicles on the walls (ok, slight exaggeration!).
I've never seen Brokeback Mountain, was what you saw good? I kind of got put off when Laura told me the first 10 minutes was just sheep.
I hope this comment works (I'm not very good with this old "technamology", so we'll hope for the best!) and should be the first of many!
I must get back to my party-party lifestyle now...might make myself a hot chocolate.
Lots of love,
Laura

Hey Laura - I didn't raelise you were "on the blog". Great to hear from you .. I hope The North isn't too cold for you!

@ mistery brothers .. HI!!!! I am glad you've written on the blog too. As far as I know we can come to see you at Christmas now. My operation is going to be in January and Aunty B has sent the final money to pay for the cottage.

I love you both, masses.

Do you realise that some of the people writing on this blog have seen all those videos of you when you were little and learning to talk?!?!?! It will be funny for them to see how grown up you are now, and typing away just like they do!

Hi Pete - I guess you are one of the beneficiaries of my counselling skills! At least Mand asked me for the advce I gave her that time .. I hope you have a great break and that you both leave your phones at home (see that is unsolicited but none the less GOOD advice!)

ps. Laura - re Brokeback = yes there are a lot of sheep and a distinct lack of dialogue. Then when they DO talk it is in an accent so thick you can't tell what they said!

I'm assured by my pals that it is worth it, and that it is a great study in the inablility of men to communicate properly (Liz says) .. so maybe the accent thing is symbolic as well as impenetrable!

Hi Sue just had tea.
We had a trip down to Weymouth a bit of drama on the bus two chaps got on the same time as us and sat at the back. The bus started to go along the prom when a police car came along side the bus flashing lights no siren then he pulled up in front of us and jumped on the bus.

One of these chaps had seen the police car and jumped out into the road via the back door the bobbies chased him, caught him and with handcuffs, he was put in their car the other one got off at the next stop.

The driver said they had booked to come up to Dorchester. Every one cheered when they saw the chap had been caught.

BYE for now LM
