Week 3 finished

Great news:
  • over 1/2 way through my radiation treatment
  • had a lovely walk with kate yesterday
  • had a laugh with James in the evening (he brought pressies -- keep your eyes peeled for pics later!)
  • got up and had a pain-free morning (yipee!)
  • the sun is still shining
  • B and I are going out for a walk now

Love to all my family and friends .. you are all doing your bit to keep me up-beat in these strange times and I really appreciate it. Thank-you. xxx

Hi Suze. It is great to hear that you are over half-way through your treatment. That must be a real boost. Your days sound like a lot of self-healing is going on and I like that. It makes me think of the Bible quote: "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven" and you are in your "time to heal." And all that love! Love is never wasted. :) Bless you, my dear.

Hi Sue, Cousin Pauline here again. Glad you had a good day yesterday, Sat.

Here is a poem from my NCFE Drugs Awareness Course which is appropiate for anyone.

ATTITUDE
"The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The one thing we can do is play on our string we have, and that is OUR attitude. I am convinced that life is 10 per cent what happens to me and 90 per cent how I react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of our ATTITUDES!"

written by Charles Swindoll.

Hope you like it.

Take care. Love Pauline x
