C+R week4 day 2

We have more sunshine this afternoon ..

After another quick day at the radiotherapy place Mum and dad picked me up and we went (guess where?) yup - Trentham, tho it was too foggy to bother with the lake-side walk we did all the shops and had a drink in the Garden Centre bit. We came home for a bite of lunch and now my mum is ironing and I guess dad is snoozing! I may nod off later.

Mr K is coming around later.

ps - I've recently up-dated the other blog ... for those that are interested.

Did you see the German market at Trentham gardens? Is it tacky or do they have nice sausage products? Or both? Can't be bothered to update my blog, it was only you who commented on it anyway.

Hope you are feeling well.

Hi Suz - Mistry Dad here. I left a comment last week that also didn't seem to get to you. I always check up on your blog when I am at work as our home computer isn't very well at the moment. I hope LM is getting you all some very nice wholesome teas while she is up there!
Always sending good thoughts - lots of love xx

hey ian - that sounds exciting.. hope you have a great time!

@ keiran, they already have a special pitch maked out for me at Trentham!

@ mistry dad -- HI - your other message didn't get through, but it is good to hear from you.
Julie says that you are looking to book a Hilton Break in Feb 1/2 term, which is a great idea. You'll have to grit your teeth and gird your loins to brave Coventry again, though!

@ micheal, yes they have quite authentic looking sausages grilling there (many years traipsing round Germany with my ex-husband made me quite an expert) HOWEVER you will need a bank loan, they seem very dear for a food that we used to think a cheap snack when we were on holiday in Germany.

oh and other wise the German market has a lot of linen / embroidry stuff, a few wooden ornaments, some caramelised nuts and some very cheap sweets that look like the same ones in the local paper-shop. Not really a great representation of Germany.

See, that's the price the middle-classes are happy to pay for perceived cultural authenticity. Don't get that where i'm from.
