ladies who lunch

During my short bursts of energy between stretches of exhaustion and sleep I like to "do lunch." Apart from anything it breaks up the long days when B is out of the house for 10 to 12 hours at a stretch.

Yesterday Kasia drove me out and we met up with James, who was literally just back from Oz. He treated us to our lunch in a Cheshire Country pub .. what a gent!

Today I am going to meet someone new off tinternet, she lives near here and we are meeting in The Lounge -- for a change. I must be boosting their profit margins this year cos there's is the only place I really trust in Hanley. I have got be careful to avoid food-poisoning and not get take-aways or eat in any dodgy diners, so I'm sticking with the same place.

Hi Sue, Yes it's cousin Pauline again. Wow! what stunning clothes worn by 3 very lovely ladies! I don't make a habit of flattery, in fact, I rarely comment on what anyone wears or how they look as I tend to keep thoughts to myself.
Methinks a lot. Methinks. Anyway, forgotten to say congrats to you + B for many a long year tog., no-one could stick me that long methinks. Haha. Well, I am off to Craig's coll., for open evening tonight. Yes, yours too i.e. 6th Form Coll., wonder what delightfull report there? Anyway, take care. Love Pauline xx

Hiya Big Sister, no danger of your becoming Little Sister with all your fine dining. Don't blame you though, in fact it is excellent that your appetite is so good.

I am proud of you. (As ever). You have always been there for me, I know you will always be there for me. What else can younger brothers expect? But, it is awesome to learn just how many other persons need you to be around.

Just keep doing what you are doing, obviously it is exactly right.

PS Is there ANYTHING you are not good at?!

lots of love

ah, Mark, that is very sweet of you - and whatever happens I AM always around for you .. that nagging voice echoing in your head, at the very least! haha..

@ jean -- how lovely to have you back, and congrats on your birthday .. I hope you meant for me to publish that flikr address cos I can't edit the comments section! *eek* The pics are lovely ..

Eugh, fancy eating whale ... did you like it?

I fear there is no hope for Keiran! You'll need to take strong disciplinary action

hey mum and dad - yeah I got your message but I drather phone you back in the day rather than in the evening .. when you called I was in the bath -- I had a bad headache all day yesterday so I was trying to ease it off :( Dr A says headaches go with the raditaion, and I usually wake up with one, but yesterday's lasted and lasted, and I'm still not supposed to take pain-killers ...

it's not so bad this morning, any rate .. think I'll go for a walk while the sun shines this morning.
