It's a new dawn ... It's a new day ...

.. and I'm feeling goooooood. (that' more Nina Simone)

Morning campers!! - a bit late this morning cos I've been typing out stuff for my new blog "take heart" ... it is exciting me.

I had a good time with the kids yesterday at Monkey Forest and managed to say goodbye without crying.. which is unusual cos I always do cry when I leave them... maybe I was scared to let myself get upset this time? My sis confesses to her own blubbing, so the tradition was partly upheld.

B is feeling a bit better today, tho she has got to work late tonight, so Mr K has been recruited in to come with me for my first radiation meeting this afternoon .. .. He seems to think he'll be advising them on tattoo designs, he is currently favouring some British Bulldog type thing .... . hey ho!

Mr K is also going to be taking a selection of transfers for ideas and colour samples to ensure that this opportunity is explored to the full.

Is Dr Adeb ready for it?

@ keiron- you're being a bit cheeky, innit?

@ B -
Dr Adeb was lovely -- of course the radiographers all assumed Mr K was my spouse (a mistake YOU've made too, Keiron) I dont think many ppl take a mate from work for their appointment, they weren't used to it,it seemed!

Im confused :(

@ Keiron - dont you remember that time you saw me larking about up town with a fellah and you assumed it was my "boyfriend"? You went on about it for WEEKS despite my (honest) protestation that he is nothing of the sort ... The troupbe was you made me laugh every time you said something about it ... obviously I was laughing cos I know I'm telling the truth; you probably thought I was laughing cos I was fibbing ...

i do, and its just making me laugh thinking about it now.

im sure there was something going on between you, you were so friendly and when i saw you, you werent half embarrassed :P

but i meant it in a nice way, you said earlier you'd been waiting weeks or months to get it sorted. just wondered if he'd fixed it or what ever was needed.

@ Keiran - (I sooo wasn't embarassed!)

Mr K and I are just proof that male-female couples can be FRIENDS and have a laugh together without anything else going on --
since this is point of view you like to express to ME when you are flirting with every girl in the class (or swinging one around by her ankles) you should be pleased to see a "mature" (!!!!) role-model of ppl who have a great male-female friendship that has worked for a zillion years ... :) (it probably helps that we're both gay gooses!)

It is true that the hospital staff were slightly bemused. I think they'd have found the notion of "friend" easy enough if Mr K had been a Mrs K -- but a blokey-mate going with a woman for personal / medical stuff was obviously a novelty for them --

One of them even quizzed Mr K about how he knew me while he was waiting outside. LOL

Of course he is the ideal mate for such a job cos we had to wait for ages and he kept me amused with funny tales and witty remakrs the whole time

lol, you certainly know how to make me laugh, the bit about swinging her round by her ankles, that got me going :D Hopefully there will be more swinging (in a non swingerish way)soon, its matts 18th party on 14th and we are both going to that so i imagine lots of flirting for me...heres hoping eh.

You keep telling yourself nothing was going on, maybe i will believe you one day :p

i bet he felt really embarresed when he was being asked all those questions, maybe one of the nurses liked him and just wanted to know all the inns and outs of your relationship??? bet ya never thought of that one did ya :P
